
Beth Dolan and Luis Remesar
Luis Remesar - Born in Havana, Cuba, Luis fled his native country at an early age and settled in New York City where he spent the bulk of his formative years. He attended Columbia University, where he was awarded the prestigious Joseph Pulitzer Scholarship for Meritorious Academic Achievement and graduated with honors. His directing roots can be traced to the New York stage with credits at The Provincetown Playhouse for "Off The Wall", St. Paul's at Lincoln Center for "A Good Time", and The No Smoking Playhouse for "Young, Gifted and Broke". Since moving to Los Angeles, Luis's directing efforts have been focused on television. His credits include "The Robert Clary Show", "The Judge" and "JTN News". His teaching credits also include the Screen Actors Guild Conservatory in New York City, as well as The Groundlings Theater and the University of California at Los Angeles.
Beth and Luis began collaborating in 1993 and in 1996, formed Coyote Pass Productions.
Most recently, Beth and Luis completed the second successful season of LOS BELTRAN, the highly accalaimed, award winning, comedy series for Sony/Tristar. Airing on Telemundo, LOS BELTRAN, is the first Spanish-language, sitcom entirely produced in the U.S.
